10. Decide How To Get The Skills Your Social Enterprise Needs To Be Successful

If you are lacking some of the sills required to successfully run your social enterprise – there are in fact two main options available to you: train existing staff in these areas or acquire new staff with those required skills. Establishing the training needs of your staff, in line with your enterprise’s needs and objectives, is discussed in Module 3 and in section 10.3.2 of this module. This section concentrates on recruiting and retaining staff in order to bring the skills you need in-house in your organisation.
