11. Check the Research you have done about your business
It’s always good to get a second opinion, and a third and a fourth sometimes too! Why not ask someone at your local Enterprise Agency to review your business plan to give you a few pointers and some feedback on your business idea and market research! They may be able to direct you to sources of information that you were unaware of, but which might be very useful!
Remember too that the market environment can change quickly in light of legislation, policy or new product to the market – two months previously you may have started researching and writing a business plan for a new product in your area – but perhaps someone else has introduced it in the meantime! It is good practice to conduct a straw pole towards the end of this process to reaffirm that no significant market changes have occurred!
