2. Decide if your business idea will be a commercial success

The results of your market research should serve as a blueprint to guide your future decisions. Market research defines your social enterprise in terms of customer needs and wants; it identifies the available market; or if you are already established it should let you know how effectively your advertising is at reaching your target market; you will know what changes competitors have made; what new products should be offered and changes occurring in the market place. To be successful, you must know your market. Now you should have enough information to assess if you will have enough customers willing to buy your product or service i.e can you compete in your market? You should by now have the information you need to work out the likely costs associated with establishing your business as well as a good idea of your potential income!
