2. Decide if your business idea will be a social success

As we mentioned earlier, a Social Enterprise has a double bottom-line! You must consider if the business will be a social success – will it help you meet your social objectives? Will it make profits to further the organisation’s work? Is it complementary to the organisational ethos? Will this business raise the profile of your organisation with potential users/beneficiaries? Will it raise your profile with potential funders e.g. local Government?
