Module 5 Outline

This module covers the financial aspects of starting and/or running a social enterprise. It should help you to determine how much money you will need to start up, to identify relevant sources of finance and also outlines the type of financial records you must keep. At the end of this module you should therefore be able to:

  • Decide how much money will be needed to start the social enterprise
  • Decide where you will get the money to start the business
  • Estimate income & expenditure & decide how to keep track of it
